Looks good but it's got the "motor boat" look. Is the rear really a lot lower than the front, or is it an optical illusion?

I measured the front and back of the truck to the bottom of the frame .the front is about half inch higher. The truck is going to get winch next, that will lower the front a little.

Ok I am the new owner and I have to say that jcappeljr was a great guy to deal with and woud recommend him to anybody without a doubt. Picked up the truck tonight and what a great truck to drive with a ton of power. All we need now is the winch. That is in the works. If there is any luck to be had I will have it at Aberdeen on Friday. Thanks once again to jcappeljr, great job.

Boy, that's one clean looking truck. I bet most people will assume it came built from the factory like that for the military, not knowing it is a modified truck.

I finally finished mine, the one that I started back when John Appel started this post. I stayed with a 12 foot deuce bed for a balanced look like the WWII fwd HAR-1 , A 4 Ton truck with single rear axle. Pictures attached
