Are my springs in need of replacement?

Mine are like that AND have some rust pushing out from between them. :( I have another set that I can put on...I just ree-hee-heeally don't want to do that job. ...or the friggin link ends that break my tools!

My 2 1/2 ton M35A1 dump truck rear springs look like that. I carry between 8 and 10 tons on her every load, nothing has broken yet. I have to fix torque rods from time to time. When any leaves crack, I'll replace the whole set with some new ones. They are a lot tougher than they look. JT out
