I have a "NOS" Brand new, never used AS-2851/TR. I was a commtech in the Marines and bought this from DRMO before I got out. The plate sayes it was manufactured by,"Hy-Gain Electronics Corps of Lincoln, Nebraska.

They are still in business, but I can't find the antenna listed. Web search was fruitless too. Unfortunately, I threw all my Schematics out.

I'd like to unload it to someone who could put it to good use. Are there any websites that specialize in selling military antennas?

Thanks, Steve

Search under Telex HyGain for their LP-1402 antenna. That's the civy nomenclature for the 2851. VHF, 30-76 Mhz, 150W PEP. Can be setup for either verticle or horizontal polarization. Manpackable, 36#. Shoot me an email address and I'll send you the page I have in my files.
