It's been a few weeks since my visit to Boyce Equipment. I want to pass on my thanks to Mark and Rene for all their help.
I've been looking for a spare tire carrier for my M52A2. I'd heard about Boyce but could never get the time to stop by. After a sad visit to Oregon, we were passing right through Ogden Utah near where Boyce is located. We were met by a very nice lady who was working in the front office who pointed us in the general direction of what I was looking for. Low and behold, they have lots and lots of parts, including a complete spare tire carrier. We met with Mark, who seemed to know where every part is located throughout an indoor shop and a very large outdoor storage yard. Since we were driving our 3/4 ton Ford with a 5th wheel installed, the carrier had to be taken apart. Rene was working in the shop and helped us tear it down. Okay, he did all the hard work as well as letting me use some of his personal tools.
We got everything loaded up with with the help of another employee (sorry, I didn't get his name), paid our bill and off we went, back to SE Wyoming.
I can't stress how positive Our entire visit was. One a scale of 1 to 10, I give them a solid 10.5. I will be visiting them in the future. If you're travels take you through Ogen Utah, stop in and pay them a visit.
