won a trailer on ebay and the body says m101a2 but has a m116a1e1 chassis with 3000 gvw payload. It has surge brakes, 8 lug A2 axle, Fixed shackle in the front with a drop down shackle in the rear. And landing leg. I noticed mistaken1 has the same thing. Any info on these guys????

Yeah, trailer salad! No telling what you will get with that family of trailers. Not familiar with the fixed and drop down shackles.

perhaps a prototype with those tie downs?? Never seen those type on a 101/116 series before. Very M105A2ish like

yeah its an oddball trailer. I think it has a higher gvw than a m101a2 but has a smaller frame width. I only paid $555 for it so I'm not to bummed. its in good condition.

Nice trailer. I have read the A2E2 is a beefier chassis than the A2 so I assume the A1E1 is a beefier chassis as well.

Well I do like the height. When I tow my M105 with my Navigator it looks retarded.. But I only do it if I have to and it's a light load since I don't have brakes on the M105 unless I tow it with the Deuce..

Ive seen the drop tie downs on 1 1/2 ton trailers looks like a unit took some tie downs off a 1 1/2 ton trailer and made them work on the m101a1 cool idea

2" wheel spacers with 12 bolt H1's
