Battery adapters printing

Has anyone considered printing the 6tl military battery to Optima red top adapters?

They are crazy stupid to find and priced for uncle rich.

I know I would be interested in 2 myself.

Hi Juan

Do you know how much they’re asking for the risers? Material it’s made out of? A block of aluminum to cut that profile out of (with a slot cut that might require a special tool) might make these worth the cost.

From what I have seen before it looks like ABS automotive style plastic definitely not Aluminum.

One seller on ebay as of today is asking $50 each which maybe I am wrong sounds crazy for plastic that is why I thought someone might be able to 3d print?

I would not 3d print this. too tedious. it seems simple enough to get a block and grind to dimensions with a mill.

I saw these things by the handful, going into the trash, when the post here closed out. The first time I saw them, I fell in love. Had seen too many screwed up batteries and battery hold downs in the larger gen sets.
