Ditto "ida34". Tighten the P/S belt first, there are 3 bolts securing the pump, the #1 alternator (driver) #2 alternator (passenger) can be done at any time
Does your passenger get scared or are they just that excited to go for a drive?
I second Somemedic's technique...That's just about how I do it. I used rope and had someone else pull it so I could move around and get in those tight spots.
