Blinker problem

Im the newbie in the DFW area, in addition the the generator problem posted earlier, on the way to work a week ago my left blinkers would not come on. The right blinkers work fine and blink at regular speed but the left front and rear blinkers wont come on at all, nor do the 4-way flashers work. Does that sound like a ground problem?

I vote ground issue. Check the ground at the light in question first then keep checking all the other grounds for the turn signal system.

Inside the control are several sets of contacts. The copper corrodes over time. Sometimes you can clean the corrosion off with contact cleaner, or a fingernail file.

It sounds like either the ground on the front or rear is bad. I put all new bolts and new inside/outside star washers on clean metal to solve my problems.

It may also be the controller or a wire with worn insulation.

If you want new star washers contact me. I have many.
