Boarding ladder

That looks a lot different than the ones I have. Mine are too short, leaving the steps at a bad angle.
How does it "attach" to the truck?

The ladder has "C" brackets that hook onto the gate or bed. It is then held in place with two adj. ties. The rail stores on the back of the ladder.
