Why would you bondo over duraglass? You can get duraglass more than smooth enough for CARC paint.

I dont know maybe its me but the bondo you get now seems a lot better then 10-15 years ago.

dura glass is bondo with fiber glass strands in it .never go over rust or a whole it will hold up temparary but not long term weld sheet metal over wholes sand blast rust bondo can be 2 inches thick it all depends on whats under it always put over bare metal.other reason to start with bondo jelli or dura glass is for quick build up then once almost level switch to bondo ,they also sell cheese grader for bondo saves time gets you close faster soon as puddy turns rubbery start grading it if dryed to quick grind with 36 grit then hand sand when closer
