Man, it sure would be sweet to snap up that M125!
Unfortunantly the M125 is the worse of the lot.......IMHO is it a parts truck....the bed is missing, it has been modified, and the front bumper is FUBAR.

With scrap prices as high as they are right now you can do the math on what they are worth to the Chinese.

Everything that I read says 45k winch, the C model has the lower 5th wheel and single winch. maybe your reading 22.5 tons

as a side note, on page 381 upper right, Fred Crismons U.S. Military Wheeled Vehicles, has a pic of a singled out 123
Nope, it says "25,000" on the plate.

Care to post the picture? What's it got for singles?

Hmm, how are the M123s? Any idea which models they are? Does the 125 still have the front winch? I'd only be interested in a diesel truck except I'd really like the front winch off that 125, although I don't know about the PTO differences of diesel vs gas plus that'd still be a single output. You think he'd sell individual parts? It'd be a long haul up here though.

The winch is identical to the one on the rear of 5-ton wreckers. Garwood was the major producer of the winch, as well as the mount. There was never a stock M123 series with a crane.
The winch on the truck in question isn't like any winch I've ever seen on a wrecker. All the 45k wrecker winches I've seen were 45K Tulsa winches. I'm not saying they didn't put Garwood winches on the rear of some 5-ton wreckers but I've never seen one.

I just realized my heater is gone! The blower inside the cab is there with all the controls but everything inside the engine bay is gone. I power washed it today to get rid of the probably 30 years old mold growing on it.

Can anyone link me to 10 ton technical manuals? I haven't found any yet but it more due to a lack of time than effort. Too much

Parramore Surplus in Florida did have the -20 and -34 manuals. Call 850-856-5207. The correct numbers are: TM 9-2320-206-20 and -34.
