This was my first , but it WILL NOT be my last. Lots of great people there and some really good and hard to find parts at reasonable, or even sometimes CHEAP, prices. I have to tell you, folks at the show are decent to each other and that makes all the difference. If I didn't have to leave for work reasons, I would be there for the entire show.

Oh yeah, the camp site was really cool and so was that Huey Gun Ship !! Something for everyone!!

Anybody see any sheet metal (fenders, doors, hoods, ect) or complete cabs for m35's? Planning on coming down early tomorrow morning and trying to determine how big of trailer I need. Thanks

Another good day topped off with Cabell's southern BBQ feast at dusk. Lets see, Ribs, BBQ, baked bean, green beans, cole slaw, tater salads, and more. WOW!!! I am full and ready for our last day. Lots a great deals. The 3pm auction was a great success and raised much needed money to the our club (Washington Blue/Gray) alive to host events like this. Too many take events like this for granted. There is a lot of work that goes into the planning and execution of such a massive event like Aberdeen. Planning for next year starts next week,

Sounds like you folks have had a good time again. I'm glad the weather has been nice for this. I've got to see about making it there in the future. It's not like it's a long trip.

I just got back and had a great time. The display vehicles were great and I saw a lot of parts that are going to be put on the 'get them next year list'.

Although most of my $$$ went to jeep parts, I did score a used cargo cover and a budd wrench for Milla the M35a2.

Yeager (my yellow lab) had a good time and learned to drink out of the water buckets holding the tents down really quick.

The Super DUKW was a real surprise.. to bad they didn't give rides or allow you in the cabin. That thing was HUGE.

The show has been Awesome ! Lots of Bargins , And even better meeting Great SS members :)

:ditto:R racing don't forget to keep me in mind if you ever come across those LED turn signals to let me know. It was great talking with you and look foward to next year. Same goes for all the SS members I had the privilage to meet and talked with, my wife actually enjoyed herself as well which helps. I think I got her convince that my next MV has to be a wrecker so that I can move all my heavy items I got from Dudley LOL!! Dudley great meeting with you and thanks again for the items I got from you, hope to deposit some more cash to you in the future.

No sunburns today, its raining. It was nice spending time with you and other MV lovers. I think everyone is wearing out by now. I stop vending and shop today. I am still heading home with 65 lug wrenches.

I spent most of Friday wandering around the show and enjoying the sights. A stranger would never know that there was anyone from Steel Soldiers in attendance... you guys keep your screen names and affiliations very hidden.... but then I guess so did I...

Other than walking up to each person and asking: "Are you on Steel Soldiers?" (I'm much too shy for that!), how would one ever know? (OBTW, I was the guy wearing a woodland camo M65 and a boonie cap, that wasn't smoking a cigar ;-) )

Well, Kelly and I are home. Huge thanks go out to Cabell and the dirty old man with the MKT (Frank). The show was a blast, lots of good people, food and trucks! Also, huge thanks goes out to Carnac, I spent lots of $5 bills there and found out his m1061 talks.
