Camo paint with white rims look good?

I scored a set of nice vintage mag steel 16.5 rims for only $50 and the new 37” MTRs for $640. I cleaned the rims up with CLR and a scrubber pad and DAMN! They are nice! So I’m thinking…

If you're strictly asking opinion, then my answer is no. But it is your truck, and if it suits you, go for it. It would be a shame, almost to repaint those wheels, they do look nice. But once they get in the mud, it won't matter much. Just my

Yeah totally agree! it would look like dog poop! Lol! I got the set listed on marketplace. If they don’t sell, I’ll put some studs on them and they can be the winter set.

Seems like it would look odd to me but when it comes to personal satisfaction, who gives a shxt what others think. I'm pretty sure all the dorks around here with their foreign cars and loud lawnmower exhausts are thinking the same thing.

Paint them black, but make sure you scuff them good. Nothing looks worse then peeling paint.

That's true. I put refurbished late model Dodge 17" rims on my truck. Semi-large 16 and 16.5 tires aren't available to buy anymore. The refurb rims were powder coated. I used house paint black. It isn't peeling but it definitely shows the sliver along the rim from hand mounting.

Really? I don't need or want to hear that! I know 16.5s are thing of the past, but 16"? I haven't seriously looked but still see what seems to be a good selection.

Top brand name tires are readily available up to a metric equivalent of 33x10.5 on the 16 inch rim. If you want to go 37" you are SOL unless you want some Chinese mud bogger tire.

Considering I have mismatching body panels on my 86 M1008, I thought about painting the wheels red or orange lol
