At the request of the base command, the MICHIGAN MVPA is coordinating an Historic Military Vehicle Display for Camp Grayling’s 100[SUP]th[/SUP] Birthday Celebration
This event is open to all Historic Military Vehicle's as well as Military Living History Displays. Pre-registration is required.

The “Display” is advertised for 1200 to 2200 hrs on Saturday the 20[SUP]th[/SUP] of July, I suspect those times are for visiting civilians and that we will be on display for our brothers in arms all weekend, the event runs through the evening, ending with a fireworks display that starts at 2200 hrs.
Participants may arrive on Friday and may camp in their Military display, or at the nearby campground for those with non-military camping equipment.
Food & beverages provided for Saturday.

The event web site is
www.CampGrayling.org
There will not be any vending at our display area.

This is an excellent opportunity to help Camp Grayling celebrate. I encourage all to come. Still in planning stages, details to follow as they become available.

If you have a vehicle with Michigan Army National Guard unit markings, or Reserve unit markings.
That would be the one to bring. I'm planning to bring my M36A2 as it came from a Michigan unit. 1075th Maint in Da Up Eh?

My M109 came from Grayling. I sure wish I had the time and money to drive it up there! 2700 miles round trip just ain't in the budget! Maybe one day.

Last Call (kinda)

Base command would like to know the size of display area needed and # of attendees for possible food & others items. They would like the info this week. Have over 50 displays registered so far. 8)
So if you think you can make it, get registered online registration
