We use a 10,000 lb Chev dually 4x4 to recover these 8000lb slough jumpers out of ditches and that is just good math. The big heavy thing pulls the stuck small thing.
With the winch and cable wizards out there, anything is possible. Here's a wee Willys wildly winching a damaged deckless deuce onto a trailer. What is that, about 1,500 lbs pulling 10,000lbs?
............and recovery strap technology these days is over the top.....we hope....because if they break we hope they go over the top. Here's a cool link for straps with a price list.
