October is almost over and it it once again time to start planning for the Christmas Light Parade in Downtown Edmond.

The City of Edmond is having their annual Holiday Parade of Lights. Dec 7th, 2013 at 6:45pm. I have signed us up for a dozen trucks.

We will once again meet at the WalMart at I-35 and SE 15th street in Edmond at 5:00pm. Convoy to the staging area at 5:20 and the parade starts at 6:45pm

This will make the 5th year the Oklahoma Convoy has participated. We have placed in the top three each year.

I hope to have my deuce by then, its not the prettiest until I get it painted but sounds like something I am interested in. If you don't mind that mine is not a show truck. Can you tell me more about it?

You are welcome to attend. You don't even need an MV as we have plenty of open seats. One requirement to drive in the parade is lights, Lots and lots of lights.

Some of us use generators and other use power inverters.

Be prepared for a cold night and an hour or so of just sitting around. Hot chocolate or apple cider helps.

Ends up I won't be there this year. Think they can see my lights in Seattle? Heading up to see the grandkids at JBLM since there father is over playing in the sandbox.Maybe everyone will be watching the OSU/OU Bedlam game.

Got a call today from the City of Edmond.

Due to the upcoming bad weather forecast and extreme low temperatures, they have canceled the event. No rescheduling.

We are also expecting a radical weather change. Hope that San Angelo's Christmas Lights Parade goes on in spite of the predicted cold (but not precipitation) conditions.
