I used the vent line to help me trouble shoot a primming problem with my M923A1. You can put 3-4psi air in at the vent and pressurize the tank and look for leaks in the fuel system. Also helps to prime the system after a fuel fitter change.

Neophyte,can you post more pictures of how that line is routed from the tank to the vent tube. I want to do that upgrade to my truck.
