Car show this past weekend

Had a great time at a VFW car show. I got to meet several veterans who shared their stories with me. One veteran I spoke with, showed me the original copy of his bronze star award given to him by General Westmoreland. I placed first in the military division and a top 10 spot.

Looking good, I'm currently working/building a display set up to use at events with my 5ton truck. Some people laugh at the idea, but a good display draws people's attention to your vehicle & starts great conversation.

This was the first outing with the M60 mounted in the bed. I had a very positive reaction to it. The kids loved getting in the back and taking a pic with it. I agree that having a display with the truck grabs people's attention. I have had numerous veterans tell me that they humped around a PRC 77 and they like seeing that I have one displayed.
