So...
I was wondering what to do with the M105 I had gotten when I bought the 5 ton.... It sat in my back yard being neglected for about 7 months and I decided to turn it into a mini-camper....
I had started looking for stakes, bows and a cargo cover when I saw this on Eastern Surplus' website:
At that point, I knew I **needed** whatever that shell was!
After some research, I found out it's a CBC (Chemical/Biological Cover).
I put word out I was looking for one, as they seem to be extremely rare....
I got a message from our very own @fuzzytoaster stating he had one available.... after wheeling and dealing and much arguing back and forth (I'm lying... I called, asked the price and he told me....) I decided to pull the trigger.
I arranged to meet him at his yard and did the deal... (I think he only sold it so he would have a reason to show off his loader....
So I get home and it's time to mount it....
I used the chainfall and chain for my spare tire over a tree limb and ratchet straps on the lifting rings to prepare it...
Then backed the trailer under it.
Then I bought the needed hardware I needed, drilled into the trailer using the existing holes in the CBC as guides and mounted it.
I am eventually going to build it out as a full on camper setup with power etc... that is a build/post for the future...
Many thanks to @fuzzytoaster for making this possible!!!
