OK all-
Once again offshore and thinking about things I need to fix on the 5 ton.
My fuel gauge isn't working, and I know it's because the Packard connector to the gauge is disconnected. (Well, there's a Packard connector marked "28" anyway. I'm not sure if it goes from the gauge to the sending unit or the battery switch).
Being as it is a **real** rats nest under there, I'm looking for guidance before I dive in.
According to this drawing:
the gauge is connected electrically to the battery switch along with the other items shown.
My question is this:
Is the gauge physically connected to the switch or is there another place it plugs into?
I have the 4 connector battery switch, but if I remember correctly, I have plugs in all 4 of them.
Where would the wire from the gauge plug into? It didn't seem long enough to reach the battery switch.
Everything else run to the switch works, if that helps.
