Hi Everyone!
Necessity is the mother of creativity! After a SEVERE downpour here in SW Indiana I got beyond frustrated while going to work at AutoZone from these useless wipers. So, on lunchbreak I went to the wiper display and started to pilfer through the inventory. Alas, after about 20 minutes I came upon success! Anco 25-11 wiper blades are small enough to get the job done and have an adapter kit that allows the wiper arm to fit the blade. However, one small modification to the arm needs to happen before the adapter will work properly. We need to remove the small flange on the end of the arm in order to allow the stump to fit the adapter. A pair of pliers and two seconds later the flange is off and the adapter fits perfectly. I'll have some photos as soon as we get our camera back from Shanghai. The full sum of about $10.50 for both and the new wipers work wonderfully in the rain!
