In Georgia - my SF97 for my MK25 shipping weight was listed at 26,000 lbs. If the tag office allows you to purchase an register a tag based on the total weight you declare to ever carry/tow, if that total weight stays at/under 26,000 lbs, a regular Class C driving license should suffice. Correct? If so, I just could not tow anything, or even carry anything in the bed either.

I have seen the states website list that Non CDL licenses do not have endorsements so what does that mean about driving with air brakes? You can test but your non CDL cannot carry the endorsement? Are an air brake endorsements only enforced when a vehicles GVWR are 26,001 lbs over?

I've talked to DOT, tag office, and license office, and read through states website and I continue to find conflicting information.

You are right. There are no two individuals who work for DOT that reads the rules the same way. If you are driving the truck non-commercially, you will (should be) just fine. No need for an Air Brake Endorsement.

In CO, My friend who owns a transport company told me to put a sticker on my truck that says "NOT FOR HIRE", which takes the CDL out of it if I'm over 26k. IDK about GA.
