Classified add prices, main page

Since classifieds need to be approved before posting, is there a good reason why so many adds have incorrect prices listed(looks like decimal place errors). I keep noticing the classifieds on the main page and I keep seeing trucks and stuff listed with $15.00 or $1.00 etc. Is there something that can be done to make it easier to preview your add when listing them? Or could they actually be proof read before approving them? I am about to start calling them when they are listed incorrectly and demand that the item be sold to me as advertised(just to get the point across).Right now on the main page there are two deuces for sale for $15 and $1, I'll take them both! Is it impossible to edit an add? Come on, lets get this right.

That is a little frustrating, but I don't actually know what is happening there? Are people entering the wrong amounts?

I would still like to see a classified forum (that is exempted from the main page listing to keep it from being overrun), so you can bump items when you lower the price or add new information to keep it near the top. The standard one bump per day rule seems to work pretty well.
