After driving in parades for a bit, a clicking or tapping noise on the passenger side begins. Any ideas on what that may be?

Sure it not the short drive shaft between the transfer case and transmission? Those bolts come lose sometimes.

If it's coming from the wheel you'll have to pull the hubs to do an inspection.

It could be the air pressure regulator on the firewall hanging up to where it makes a loud metalic Clacking sound. I took mine apart lubed it up and that was the end of it, you'll have to reset the presssue setting by turning the nut on the right side of it ( in picture ) you might even be able to correct the sticking by just readjusting the pressure setting nut.

Funny, but I thought that might be the culprit. I will give that a try.

We have a winner! Bingo!

A regular metallic click made by the air pressure regulator. Adjusted it. No more clicking. Thanks Bill W!
