Coloring a tan tarp OD or camo..?

I got a tan tarp on my 101A2.....

can I get it dyed Olive drab or camo... or am i gonna have to replace it?

Is it vinyl or canvas??? Makes a big difference.

You can find paint that will adhere to Vinyl.

Canvas is dyed and does not lend itself to having its color changed without being dyed, at least that is my understanding.

No, not effectively. Sell it and buy the correct color cover. Brand new from GMA they are not that much $$$, although that is relative I guess. I bet the cover costs more than you paid for the trailer!

The GMA cover on my M101A2 was originally green and had been painted Tan CARC, I presume by the IANG where the trailer came from.
The tan has "washed away" on top where water puddles in between the bows.

You can paint the vinyl, just has to be thinned and a light coat.

I have used SEM products many times to change the color of vinyl on autos. They are available at most auto parts paint stores and it really work good.
