Converting?

How hard would it be to convert my M1009 to a 4 speed stick?

Bus... Its pretty easy, if you have a donor truck for the parts. You will need the tranny (of course), and a new tcase adapter (or complete tcase). You might need different length drive shafts as well. Dont forget the new cluth and brake pedals.

I have done it in a truck before helping a friend. Its not too bad if you have all the parts.

Alright cool. That is pretty much the lines that I was thinking. What about the starter, is an auto starter different from a stick starter. I know Auto has flex plate, stick has fly wheel.

Pretty sure its the same starter. Flywheel will be different for gas vs diesel though!
