Here's a 530C class firetruck towing an M197 converter dolly with an M118A1 trailer.

Just how sure it's an M35 on the border edges? 35's and 54's both look the same from inside the rear tarp.. The thought crossed my mind. However, being the journalist I am, without confirmation or denial I must focus on the subject of the photo instead of the unknown edges enshrouding the subject matter.

It could be either one. Odds are better that it's the M35 but as you say, no confirmation. I had fun with it though. I've had 2 M54A2Cs and neither had the step/handle but they were dropsides.

just chillin' out:
<img src="http://www.atroop412cav.com/jargon_slang/images/deuce_large.jpg" border="0">

and the M35A3. I don't know about you, but what happened to the front end? The hood looks slanted upwards and it looks too fat:

it's got all the right stuff though!

and this one is very interesting to me, because of the truck in the background. What is that, an old Dodge?

It's actually an old Ford. The picture is really self explanitory. Look at the guys uniform. He's Navy! Navy always had some civy trucks dressed up as military so this doesn't surprise me.

It's a '63 Ford 1 ton 4X4 short bed. Dodge couldn't keep up with the military demand on the Power Wagon so Ford helped meet demand. The Navy got the Fords.
