I shot an email to the Michelin commercial tire folks regarding the correct inflation pressures based on my 6 wheel and 10 wheel M35A2s. This was the response. (quick, too!)
Note that they refer to the axle load with 2 or 4 tires per axle. The data is good for other models of trucks, too.
Thank you for your email. We welcome the opportunity to serve you.
We understand that you collect military vehicles. You described a couple of
them, M35A2 6x6 trucks. You inquired about proper inflation pressures for
the Michelin XL tires n size 11.00R20.
In setting your tire pressures, please utilize the following load /
inflation chart:
Inflation pressure (psi) Load Carrying Capacity (2 tires / axle) Load
Carrying Cap (4 tires / axle)
75 10,400 19,960
80 10,900 20,760
85 11,380 21,560
90 12,010 22,700
95 12,410 23,140
100 12,810 23,580
105 13,220 24,020
110 13,740 25,060
115 14,260 26,100
120 14,780 27,120
