I use Baldwin filters. They supply several different gaskets with the filter and from what I remember I can use most of them except fo rmaybe the primary filter by the frame. I ordered a M96T gasket from John Deere as I get lots of parts from them anyways. I can't remember exactly what it was for but check the filter interchange in the tech article section.

To directly answer your question, Napa 5131 is the correct gasket for the primary.
napa 5070 is the correct gasket for secondary/final filters
Both of these gaskets are supplied with my primary and secondary/final spin-on fuel filter adaptor kits. John Tennis

Old thread, I know. It's from "Search" along with a dozen other threads I've researched for the correct NAPA part number for the primary fuel filter gasket.

My problem is the NAPA part number 5131 returns a water pump gasket. Several others have gone to multiple sources just to get a better primary fuel filtet gasket to go with the NAPA 3511 primary fuel filter. I would like to do some one stop shopping if possible.

Has anyone ever solved the problem with correctly identifying the correct NAPA part number for the Primary fuel filter gasket for the NAPA 3511 filter? I've been through over a dozen threads now and nothing seems to come up with the correct answer.

Not interested in the spin ons as I won't be changing these so much it would justify the extra $200 expense, but I sure do like them. Thanks for any NAPA part number advice.

Oh, and I also searched NAPA for the "FIL 5131" as well as the "5131" and nothing comes up when using "FIL" as a prefix.

I just used the gasket that came with the filter (#3511) for the Primary.
But it looks like it comes with #fil 5095 and fil 5133. Not sure which one I used.
Not sure if this helps?

My search indicates the gasket that comes with this filter leaks and a replacement gasket is needed, but nothing seems to bring it all together with a NAPA part number. What I am afraid of is, when I remove the primary, the gasket might get messed up and I'll have additional and unnecesssary down time, so ...Still looking... but thanks.

The small gasket that comes with the 3512..Secondary filter, is the gasket that you can use on the primary.

1 more time.....Secondary Filter 3512 comes with 2 gaskets.
1 is the 5095 which is 4.031 O.D., 3.468 I.D., .093, and Thick.

1 is the 5133 which is 3.663 O.D., 3.437 I.D., and .125 Thick. This can be used in place of the 5131.............Which is 3.587 O.D., 3.317 I.D., and .125 Thick. They will interchange in the filter housing.....That is only .076 difference. It works..........

Every time you change fuel filters you get 2 of these 5133 gaskets(with the 3512 filter)........Which work...

Woody's has the 5131 for .31 cents each and has 151 of them in stock. 1/08/12

Primary gasket # 5131 is the Napa gasket for the primary base, or you can get WIX #15131 which is exactly the same gasket. It is just plain true, I buy these 100 at a time a couple of times a year. I wish I could be close to all of you so I could just hand them to you when you need them. Try a WIX distributor, they make the Napa stuff anyway. Or, keep using that other # that comes with the 3512s as long as it works
