The ibes tek tow bars are not on the authorized tow bar list in the recovery tow bar smart book on the Army safety website. That is why you are seeing them being flooded on GL.

All this talk is making me want one of these for the CUCVs. I have a medium and a small, perhaps I would be better served using the Ibis Tek.

Okay I just talked to Ibis - tech and the medium was not even in production until 2010 and the safety bulletin which never covered the medium towbar was rescinded and they are still selling to the military.
