Cover for a deuce?

I ordered one of the "parashoots" from Kipman and got it yesterday. I haven't tried putting it on a M35 yet because it has been raining out, but from unfolding it in the living room, it should be just the thing to work as a cover. Either that or a great dust cover for my small British cars.

I was looking at the RV covers and saw that some are made of Tyvek (house wrap). The local home improvement store sells it in 9' x 150' rolls. About enough for two trucks, I calculated. A little sewing together or using housewrap tape and you are in business!

You can find plenty tarps that are cheap down in Mississippi everything gets that black meldew on everything, worse under a shade tree.

I use a OD Parachute for a canopy on some of my displays for shade.

Regrettably, I don't have a picture...
I've got a canvass for the back that fits, but doesn't really match. I set that up, and keep lots of the deuce related "paraphernalia" in the back of the truck so I can have room in the basement when I can't take my projects outside. Then I put a second small canvass tarp over the regular cab canvass. I tie that cover so that I can easly release the corner by the driver's door, so I can start and move the truck a couple or three times during the winter for the sake of excercising the batteries, minimizing the flat spots in the tires, and moving some oil around the internal parts... Not really pretty with an olive truck, a green back canvass, and a yellow tarp thrown over the cab, but it works well...

There was a PS article about sticking a board on top of the bows to keep the water from puddling. Relieve the corners so it doesn't damage the tarp, and it works well. If you're not actually driving with the tarp propped up, you need not drill or bolt the board, the canvass will hold it just nicely.

A bug net would work as good as a parachute to keep rain off a Duece. A dust cover maybe. Try a Armour tarp for covering 90% of your Duece. I used one from a Bradley to cover the Duece and it worked real well. -Jay

I know that conditions are probably entire different down here in GA, but I just put a tarp over the cab and use ratchet straps to get it nice and taught... keeps all the weather out. If you get a tarp of heavy-enough material, snow shouldn't be a problem. As for the hind-end of the deuce, well, the jury's still out.

105 deg for 60+ days is not hot ?
but at the same time it was probably 10- 15 deg hotter in el paso
