Look in the top bar of each SteelSoldiers web page. Do you see the MEMBER MAP button? USE IT! Before your trip, plan your route then contact those SS Members along your route via PM to ask if they might be available for emergency rescue ops.
NOTE: Do not rely on this thread or other general forum postings to be seen by all potential Members ready and willing to help. PM is the only way to assure they see your need.
While you're on the Member Map, drop a push pin on your own new location. How else will other Members know your presence?
As a matter of contingency planning - YOU must be an active participant in your own rescue. You must initiate contact with potential resources. Otherwise, your MAYDAY calls my fall on deaf ears.
