Where do I get a crows foot adapter to torque the inner torque rod ends you cannot get a socket and wrench on?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
What hole? Talking about the torque rod ends on top of the axles.I use a Mac 6pt impact. Fits right in the hole.
I don't weld, so it has to be tool available to the public. There is a thread on home made tools here as well... I'll post it if I find it before you do.
If you use the crow's foot at a 90 degree angle to the wrench, there is no length added and no calculation required. If you do use the crow's foot with the torque wrench, you will need to covert your torque spec. The crow's foot makes the torque wrench's reading inaccurate. By using this following formula, your reading will be accurate.

Really? Then why do manufacturers provide a torque spec? Maybe some folks like to do things correctly and by the book.Estimate the torque, an exact figure isn't required.
