not trying to start trouble but you guys are a bunch of whiney cry babies. you are makin this guy out to be a dastardley irresponsible destroyer of well being. as for him doin that, it was in his yard out of harms way of other people, and as for the car anyone who has a stripped corvair shell in their yard prolly knows what its worth because they obviously stripped the parts off and either sold or used the parts on a better car. that thing was prolly a rotbox that wasnt worth fixing. if the guy was at walmart goin nuts then it would be a different story, but i just dont see how this vid makes mv people look bad.

Any of you guys remember the dead clown that broke into the National Guard Armory in San Diego and took a tank for a joy ride? That thing crushed cars and motorhomes like they were cardboard boxes. His fun and games was real time real. Guy went big.

well i attempted to run over a junk car i puchased but decided to stop after i put 1 tire on the hood.I was afraid of trashing my truck.for a poor guy that has wanted one for a long time it dont make much sense to tear it up for 15 min. of laughs or fun.But on the other hand the video might make people think twice before they do something to tick any of us off!!!!!!!!!

Aside from possibly getting metal in the tires, we do the same thing to these trucks off road. Take a look at all the past rally videos for proof.
And I have a '67 firebird convertible that might be a good candidate for this treatment. It's a basket case front to rear, and after it gets stripped... Who knows. I've already put a 715 tire on the trunk of an old riviera and pulled the engine out of a nissan p/u with a chain on the pintle. Then I pulled an s-10 blazer over on it's side to pull the fuel tank. Of course I did most of this to prep them to go to the scrap yard.

It's a truck with 3 axles, 10 wheels, and all wheel drive made to haul stuff nearly anywhere you would want. I thought they made machines to crush cars? Forest was right "you can't fix stupid". My opinion.

Assuming that he owns the truck and car, who is anyone here to judge him? This is not a socialist country yet, no one has a right to convict him for anything or take the truck he purchased. If he wants to cut it up and make shavings out of it, his choice. We don't have to agree but nothing we can do about it. Freedom is costly, enjoy it!

a GUY AND A DEUCE....crushing a corvair shell, and messing up his other truck....PRICELESS!!! Cost to the gene pool... immeasurable..... At $60.00 a pop to repair the flats on the duals... better him then me. Needless to say, it seems unfortunate that some Deuces just don't have owners that really care about them, but in a few years when they've reduced the excess supply.... the rest of us will benefit in the long run!
Actually a Unimog U1300L would have done it with less mess, and any D series Caterpillar tractor would do it in about 5 to 10 seconds flat (or invite Ferro to take it out with his GP10M for real excitement)! Since we had a 64 or 65 Corvair Station Wagon when it was fairly new (say 1966 or 1967), it was a piece of junk from day one as regards reliability (or almost any other aesthetic or mechanical consideration), basically an American Beetle, and I'd love to crunch a couple of those......!
The way the locals drive around here in good or bad weather, I may get the chance to crunch a Toyota or Dodge, as they are always doing something boneheaded at point blank range...... When it ices and sleets.... it seems to be a miracle to get anywhere without bashing one.......
I follow very far back and use the engine for braking, but most of these yo-ho's have no idea what it takes to stop or turn a 13,500 Lb (M35A2) or 6100+ Lbs (Unimog S.404.114) without power steering!!!! We almost need to come up with an "Operation Lifesaver" for our trucks, because the car driver's ain't gonna make it if they keep some of this stuff up.....
The gene pool must be gettin' some very weak remainders in it??????

i coudnt agree more its his truck and his car if he wants to do what he did then so be it this is america is it not . believe me you dont want to see the things we do with deuces . take a look at you tube sometime people do alot worse but thats just my two cents .

Sorry...can't resist to toss in my opinion...sure, what someone does on their property is pretty much their business - as it should be! That's one of the reasons many of us served - to protect people's liberty and yes, their right to be stupid.

On the other hand, there's common sense. When someone records something like this and posts it (assuming that was the case), it then becomes public and gives those not so interested in MV's the perception and ammo that we just don't need. It's hard enough for us to keep our neighbors from complaining or local regulations and rules making MV ownership more difficult. Sadly, many people remember even isololated incedents like this more than the cool stuff like parades and displays.

Back in the day, when the railroad companies had some old trains, they would run them into each other head on for publicity. Worked pretty well.

The people watching seemed to be having a good time, and it doesn't look like anyone was hurt, unless there was someone in the trunk of that car (in the front on a corvair...) Looks like he stuck his truck there at the end, though.

Stuck my truck doing some off-roading with my daughter the other day...we had a great time!

Try having ANY kind of fun in China...probably would hang you for it.

........So now we dictate what other should and can do? Like no one has ever tried to do something stupid with
there's? Diversity with the truck is what makes the world go round. It's like some guy's will re-power them and do mods to them. All don't agree but it's there vehicle they can do with what they want.
