cucv 12 volt connection where?

Not sure what load it can handle, but I believe (others might chime in) that you would be better off running it straight from the battery. Then you can add a maxi fuse coming off the battery, then add in your extra fuse panel for your accessories.

You may want to consider this modification to the firewall mounted 24 volt bus bar to get a good 12 volt connection point. It's not hard to do and is reversible.

If properly done, this will provide a separate 12 volt source that is independent of the vehicle wiring system. Just remember to always install a fuse as close as possible to the power source in any additional wiring you install.
