There are still several carquest owned by independents that are still in business. I know of atleast 6 stores in Mississippi and atleast 3 in Montana. They do not cross with advance ap at all.

It shouldn't be that hard for a Carquest counter guy to cross the belt numbers , the Carquest belt numbers basicly are the size . There is 1 Carquest left here that isn't company owned and they don't have any issues crossing things over it just takes a searching by the specs. But shop is also the last machine shop here also and they still have hard copies of the parts books . The problem is with most places if they can't type it into the computer they have no clue how to cross parts.
