I put the adjustable one in mine.IMG_0483.png
They wont magically give you more power, but if you are having problems they are a fairly cheap place to start throwing parts. As said they are prone to failure on our old motors.

Also you can get new generic lift pumps for around $25. If you haven’t already replaced your it’s always good to have a spare in the tool box anyhow!
