Cummins PT pump questions

I'm new to these trucks and I'm trying to understand if there is any difference in the PT pumps. I'm working on starting an M818 with a NHC250 that has sat for many years. Went thru all the normal stuff. Checked all the fluids, new batteries, drained tank and new fuel. Would not crank, found it was a bad protective control box. Once I got it to fire, it would rev high and I would use the shut off fuel lever to kill it. Throttle linkage seems to move freely. Maybe a stuck governor? Looking at the manuals I'm seeing AFC, VS, MVS...I would like to buy a rebuild gasket set. What type of pump do I have and who has rebuild kits.

Injection pumps need to go to an injection pump rebuild shop. Supply the CPL number from the engine tag to the rebuilder.

check for air in the system

check all fuel lines from tank to pump. make sure primer pump line is not letting air into the system

remove the large flat screw lid on top of the pump and pour fuel in it, put lid back, then crank
