Custom Turret Cover

Being in Las Vegas, we don't necessarily get rain often but it certainly happens and my Slant Back typically leaks like a sieve. My main issue was the turret leaking straight into the custom center console and FLIR display. In an effort to mitigate that I had an entertainment scenery vendor (I design concert tours and live events) create a custom sewn turret cover with drawstring.

She looks like a soggy pakol but works like a charm. As robust as it is, it's definitely not meant to leave on while driving but has already proven to keep her dry when parked and uncovered.

Atomic Design out of Lititz, PA handled the final design and manufacturing.

I have a similar issue with the slant back.
It had a turret bypass when I got it, which was properly sealed (like a dog though, was a real PITA to remove the pints of calk the guys used to seal it)

Installed a turret hatch last year, and with the rain season the main center rubber seal leaks like a sieve indeed. I have replaced the rubber with an NOS one, but the fitting sucks and it keeps leaking. I’m busy with servicing my M1123 and working on the infotainment for this A2, but my next project will likely be its waterproofing. Even the slant back kind of sucks, leak wise.

For now there’s a tarp on the truck… not fancy but functional.
