The 12.5 x 20 Mich XL's work VERY well offroad, and had no problem with the load. This is the most I have loaded in the truck, and the trip down the 25 plus miles of 2 lane mountain roads was very interesting, the single circuit brake system kept popping into my mind for some reason. . .

How much clearance do you have between the tires?

I really like the look of this set-up.

Now you have me re-thinking singling out a deuce.

About an inch or so clearance at the bottom, I checked several times on the way back from the mountain, 80 miles or so, and they looked fine, no contact between the tires at all, after plenty of bumps.

Southdave,

Don't want to steal the thread but I mix well-dried pine with hard wood. I had a chimney sweep say that's what he does for himself AND his mother. He explained that the pine will burn hot and cause a better draft up the chimney. The key he said was "well-dried" and "mix."

I was there for the whole ordeal. Ed wouldn't let me touch the saw, so he cut I loaded. I was glad he waited until the end to put the blade in the dirt. I was getting bored standing around waiting for him to cut the pieces. Next weekend we might take two trucks up there.
