Guys, stay safe out there with your rigs, insurance and preventative maintenance. (I highly suggest a dash camera in all your vehicles too).

Today, Monday October 15, 2018 the driver of the Chrysler 300 died in a collision with an M44, M809, or M39 series 6x6 (hard to tell which exactly from the low resolution video on my phone) on SR193 in Clearfield, UT, USA.

It was unknown at this time who was at fault.

Maybe one of these articles will be updated with more details later.

From the FOX news link:

"Officers interviewed a witness on scene of the accident who indicated the driver of the white Chrysler 300 failed to stop at the red light for north and south bound traffic. The Kaiser was traveling east through the intersection when the Chrysler 300 was 'T-boned' on the driver’s side," a news release from Clearfield PD said.

The deuce driver has a Facebook page with public photos and posts. He says he fractured his back in 5 places and is having trouble gripping with the death of the other motorist. It appears he's only owned the deuce for 2 weeks. :(

Edit: One news article says he was ejected, but windshield appears intact. Maybe he went out side-ways.

I just can not believe the damage to the deuce. It almost looks like it (could have) hit a 'concrete wall' at 140MPH. Incredible destruction.
The memory of this will have me for one really taking (even more) care, and driving just that little bit slower.
I will MOST certainly be bettering my 'forward observation and anticipation'.
Not something you can easily forget.
