Defroster Enhancement Question

Even when the deuce cab heater/defroster is hooked up properly, the vents don't throw much air onto the windshield.

Miltrucks once had a pair of additional plates which could be bolted on over the vents incorporated into the dash to further direct the heated air toward the windshields, but I've never seen any since.

Any thoughts on where to find them, or substitutes for the same?

Peter, you can get these off of any residue M809 series truck as they appear to have been standard on those trucks (at least every truck I have seen had them on it). Contact John Winslow in Halifax, NC (252-883-2509). He probably has a residue M809 sitting around from which you could pull these parts.
