Well guys and gals,

Once again it is that time of year to start planning for Parade season.

This is the 29th year for the Armed Forces day and Shriner's Parade on May 17th, 2014.

We have had a great showing each time we have participated over the last 5 years and we need the tradition to continue.

Over 2 miles long..... and the biggest draw is all the kids lining the streets for the bags and bags of candy to be thrown.

Let me know who can attend so I can plan for parking space

I am going to try to make it. This is always a great parade! I have a wedding to attend at 1:30 p.m. in OKC that day but I think I can make both. Would I look funny driving a deuce wearing a tie? :cookoo:

Fellas.. My name is Joe and I live over here in Valley Brook... Anyways... I am hoping that I can get in the parade this year. Looking for a Jeep right now to pull my m416 trailer and a fairly decent looking replica 37MM anti tank gun. And it actually is a spud gun with a portable target...

I am working on a 48" Willys Jeep right now, but it is a long way from running at this time...

Gonna try anyway. Any help or direction is appreciated.

Thank

Joe

We will even let you be the lead truck again this year. Stock up on candy. All the local kids need their sugar fix.

Okay ladies and gentlemen. The big day is only 11 days a way. Looks like only 7 trucks will be there. Happyland make sure you wear your tie. It will look sharp. Also you can use it to wipe off the windshield if needed.

M715VFD405 will be leading the pack in his M715. M813A1 fixed his fuel issue. I will be driving a M818 w/w that I just replaced the transfer case. M1075 will be driving in cold A/C with his LSSV. Clepto will be in his M1009. Smoking Joe will be covering our six with his 37MM. And Happyland will be wearing a tie and making the rest of us look bad.

If you want to be with us, meet at Reno and Sunnylane. We get to line up at the first on the parade.

Three days and counting. Everyone stock up on the Walmart jumbo bags of candy.
