I don't think we need to be talking about how to tamper with a federal government inspection.
Indeed, posting on SS with the intention to suggest/inform/educate someone how to defraud a government entity, will get you banned.

All ok they just left. My equipment was looked at less than 1 hour. My small arms collection they spent 3 hours looking at.
Lots of bluff was told to me like I can't have full auto heavy machine guns. Yes I can. And I showed the paper work. Plus so many times I hear why do I have these!
I'm not listed as a public museum. I'm private and open only to appointment. They grilled me on this also.
The thing that puzzled me is I did not know any of them. I could not find any friends who knew them. I'm a 25 year served officer known throughout the Italian army and most of NATO. Their ID checked.
I will be checking into this further.

It's puzzling. I don't think it's over or finished. By the law I'm ok. But it seems like they are fishing for something. Bear in mind these are not tax people. They can make your collection a disaster.
I think they are worried something might be sold to someone who might do something with it. Or even stollen.
I have CCV systems so everything was filmed.
Its not only my collection. Similar visits have happened to other friend collectors in Italy the last 10 days.
I think the government wants to know just what military equipment is in the hands of privates. I think this is a concern to them. I got this from the inspectors but not directly.
I will keep you posted.

I really would like to see where this reference to a rule violation is mentioned, especially regarding "which" countries you cannot discuss "defrauding" If they said Pakistan, Russia, Jordan, China, Eygpt, Iran, etc., etc. what's it matter to a US based web forum what is discussed, it falls under the US 1st Ammendment. Tossing out a warning regarding violating the Web rules should be reserved for an infraction which is actually prohibited. I just looked, no mention of it. I understand a desire to keep things legal, but members fictiously tossing out ideas how to make a foreign collection less desireable to a (formerly)Socialist government inspector hardly falls into the assumed category of defrauding a government entity. Any mention of the US BATF has ZERO merit in this case, there are rules established way back in 1945 regarding just what an Italian citizen can or cannot have following the US occupation of their country, and these have been supplanted and modified many time over by their own government. So anyone discussing these topics would be of ZERO help unless they were associated with italian law and regulations for them.
Ban someone for discussing things....really? What background and upbringing justifies comments like that from an American?

Actually this website does not fall under the First Amendment of The Bill of Rights or any other amendment for that matter. There is no free speech here other than what the owner of the site and through his proxies allow.

Any suggestion of helping someone to skirt the laws of this or any other country will get you banned from the site.

I know it's not a political forum or 1st Amendment issue.
My county planning office makes things up as they go and doesn't follow what's published either, why should this be any different.

Time to get back on topic. If Carlo is following the published rules of the Italian Government he will be just fine. I don't think anyone on this forum is in a position to offer any assistance in this matter, but contacting your local representative to look into the "team" that came to visit you would be the only logical thing to do.

Our political system is a mess. You have democrats, republicans, and independents. 3 parties right? We have over 25 depending on the zone and year. Nothing gets done. Corrupt runs wild.
I will settle this by military channels. I have faith in this system.
Pits not like they threatened to take anything away or shut me down. There is something else behind this.
I was one of the first to receive a Ariete MBT tank. This pissed off allot of people here and outside the country. I made allot of waves but I don't care.

Maybe you should fly over here with Robo for the Georgia Rally. Take some of the stress off.
