very sharp looking truck, those dual tanks, both diesel? or is one diesel and one a Alternative fuel?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Well, the guys at Boyce do nice work! Did you drive it home or did they ship it to you?Tis particular beauty came out of Boyce Eqmnt in Ogden Utah.
I have a pair of M817 Dump fuel tank protectors on my M818 replacing the quarter fenders, which looked out of place. It's a good idea to get some sheet metal between those tanks and singin' waffles. Don't want any punctures from road hazards.IWhy no fenders next to the fuel tanks? I run the same set-up on mine, but I have long fenders next to each fuel tank.
Negatory on that. They are direct bolt on, regardless what side they are on, which I just found out when I added a long mud guard to my driver side tank I put on. No drilling or mods required.I second the Deuce mudguard idea. The long flaps designed for the fuel tank are over engineered and would be perfect. You would just have to flip the one on the drivers side end for end and re-drill.
