Sometime back there were photos of M34's with the proper trailer, the M104.
It was similar to an M105, but had a different, lighter frame and ran more offset wheels (singles) and 11.00-20 rubber. The most prominent feature was a front tailgate in addition to the usual rear one.
If you look closely at the photo, you can see the front tailgate under the tarp.
I have two of them, and they are very handy. With smaller 15" lowboy tires & wheels, I can pull it with my M37 and it lines up so that if the truck & trailer tailgates are half open and a piece of plywood makes it so one can walk between the two easily. Great for camping.
The same chassis was used on the M106 water buffalo.
