Agreed, what's often overlooked is the ability to perform work, actually transporting goods while going off road.

Mike, have you or the other Unimog owners ever considered adapting a Unimog Trailer plug (7 wire) to harness up the essential features (Tail, Stop, Turn) light circuits on the M105A2 Cargo trailers?
Kyle, there is no reason to modify the trailer plug since Mogs have NATO 12 pin plugs. However, you do have to move the pins on the trailer to accommodate for the turn signals because they are separate from the brake lights.

Also, there is no way that a Mite can out manuever a Mog. This is an arguement not worth going into because it is apples and oranges. Every MV has it's capabilities and shortcomings. No one vehicle is perfect for everything.

Every MV has it's capabilities and shortcomings. No one vehicle is perfect for everything.
Agreed. I have done some really "interesting" stunts in my M37 and consider it a great off road truck but it is not perfect for everything. For example, it's not worth a flip on asphalt. However, I pulled a Chevy and Ford 1/2 ton out of a bog simultaneously with the winch one rainy afternoon. The local boys went to play in the mud and got stuck so I chained the trucks together and yanked both at the same time. Those were some impressed teenagers... :lol:

I am 59 years young and been Off Roading before it was called Off roading. I do know it doesn't matter what U have or how U do it, there is a time when we go beyond the capabillities of any vehicle. Look at Racing, flying Mountain Bikeing and any other comp. sport. Got to do the Impossible!!!
