I read the tech articles on both these subjects. They give Napa numbers. I did the wiper upgrade and the result is amazing compared to the old wipers. I have had questions recently about them so here are some cross numbers I found for the Napa numbers given in the articles.
• Napa 4309 filter base Wix 24309 $48.49
• Napa 3418 fuel and water separator Wix 33418 $21.69
Napa Adjustable Wiper Arm Kits (60-750) Anco 41-01 $13.40
Exact Fit blades (60-013-1) Anco 31-13 $6.69
The prices are what I was quoted by my local parts store. I have not done the primary spin on filter kit yet but I want to do so before winter. Read the tech article under the resources tab for details. This is not a remove and replace job. You have to cut your old mounting bracket and bolt the new filter base to the old bracket piece. The wipers are bolt on with no fabrication skills needed.
