Did I bite off more than I can chew

After our last enthusiast meeting here at the barns, And during the process of "sampling" various "cold teas"?...I ended up in the morning seemingly having traded the Mutt for a deuce I once owned many moons ago.
The problems then began...big style..a composed list included, all wheels and bearings to be serviced or replaced, and some of the seals. The front wheel single conversion (wheel studs) never having been serviced ever were rusted up solid and sheared the wheel stud splines in the brake drums.
The hubs drums and wheels had to be pulled (the bearings brakes and seals were done at that time). New elongated wheel studs were fitted and welded in to the drums. Everything was reassembled and all the wheel studs and nuts graphite greased.
The truck ran terrible! and the fuel tank and in tank pump were replaced.
The fuel system was flushed out, and new primary and secondary filters fitted. About 4 lbs of muck and gunge came out of them, and the filters had collapsed and weren't even recognizable.
Next to stop an annoying pop pop pop of air constantly blowing from the overloaded brake tanks was remedied by new piping and filter to the compressor, and the air regulator valve was replaced.
There were no lights or turn signals, so they were re-wired and new 90/100wat H4s fitted. Also the steering column turn switch was replaced as was the turn signal actuator unit under the hood. An on off in tank pump switch was also fitted. On to start, Off when driving and at all other times.
A pre-start engine oil primer and pressurizer pump was fitted also.
3 things made this (at all) possible. The fork lift ruck with it's side shift and positioner function, And the two lads that help out with (my) "fleet" maintenance.
I am completely kn.....d!..My knees are giving me a lot of pain, so I'm resting for a few days, ready to "attack" this thing again at the weekend next.
I did then "relax" and fitted a Carson siren kit and two new truck batteries today though.
I will post up pictures of all the progress and tasks ongoing and completed. Sorry if some are blurred, have not got the hang of my new camera yet.
I am going to re spray the truck also.
Patracy the floors of barn are checkered cement as formally they were all Cattle barns. Now completely rewired restored with indoor outdoor security etc.

I am curious to the reason for the intank pump on off switch, to be switched off while driving. The injection pump booster pump was designed with a limited head that it will draw from. I have killed the power switch on mine while running down the road and it becomes a dog without that intank pump running. And that is with fresh filters all around.

Funny how we sometimes wind up with what we used to own!

Funny how we sometimes wind up with what we used to own!
(most of and all mine) deuce engine ldt 465 will run happily without that pump squirreling away all the time busily wearing itself out.
The 5 ton lds 465 will not generally start or run any length of time. (None of mine will.)
I am now starting to feel happy about getting this truck back.

Still resting?..But did not like the looks without the mud flaps (the other owner removed). So I altered these from a 5 ton and fitted them. (humph! Just noticed that tow pintel needs a locking pin in tomorrow).
Going for the Paint tomorrow.
My friends deuce brake pedal just went down to the floor as he was parking it. Aghh..More rolling about pulling things (heavy) apart. My weekend is going to be fully occupied. So glad I have the help of the young 'uns.
