Difference Between AMA-5104UT and AMA-5102UT

As the title line reads, what's the difference between the AMA-5104UT and AMA-5102AT alternators? From what I can tell the 5104 is the newer version of the 5102. I have the 5104 and see that all the TM's are for the 5102. Any leads on the TMs for the 5104? I tried LOGSA with no luck.

Who sells the double groove pully for these? Mine is missing it. Also, who has parts for the 5104? I've used the search function and have found a couple of civilian vendors but I was hoping to buy genuine military parts to do a "mild" overhaul (bearings, brushes, etc.). I also need the cover plate for where the wires connect. Anyone have any they would like to sell?

Thanks for any leads.

I believe that the difference between the two alternators is in the regulator assembly. The 5102 has round pins connecting the regulator to the body and the 5104 uses spade connectors.

Search for this manual: TM 9-2920-225-34
Papakb,
Thanks for the link for the manual. Already have that manual and it was close enough to repair my alternator, but there are differences. Still have been unable to find a manual for the AMA-5104UT and an AMA-5108UT .

Correct. And thats why I went to check out the TM's for all these platforms. Got the list from a friend in TACOM. He told me this is NOT an all inclusive list. The second time I mailed him, I asked if it was a DS supported item, and thats when he told me no, and that there would not be a TM. Back in the day, my Fuel and Electric shop, DS level, repaired all kinds of alternators. I thought if it was old enough, there might be a TM. But no.
